Rose Tourney- Sunday

Each Lady/Lord of the Rose and Lady/Lord of the Trillium is invited to sponsor a team.
 

The Rose Tournament is unique in that the Roses sponsor the field, and it is a special opportunity to showcase many of the ideals of the society including honour, courtesy, and valour on the field. The wish is to encourage and endorse those fighters who aspire to the highest ideals of chivalry and gallantry on the field of honourable combat.

To that end entrants must meet these requirements:

​

* Participants must be sponsored by a Rose or Trillium, who must be in attendance at the tournament,

* An armoured combatant may not also be a fencing combatant,

* Best attire for all combatants is encouraged, to honour your sponsor, and the members of the gallery.

​

Each team will consist of three armoured combatants (which may include one chivalry member but can be three unbelts), one rapier combatant (who may be a MoD), and one archer. It will be a double elimination tournament; in each round, the Rose whose team wins the majority of passes will win that round. Archery will be a single shot, head-to-head. Each fighting round will also be a single combat and a single fight.

If you are interested in participating please feel free to contact any of the Roses/Trilliums.  Teams may be chosen prior, or at the event.

The populace is encouraged to come out and bear witness to the Tournament and we look forward to seeing all of you there!
